Work Done for the People of Khanpur

My public life has been dedicated to the inclusive development of the Khanpur Assembly Constituency, with a clear focus on infrastructure, public welfare, education, transport, and livelihood generation. Through continuous engagement with the government, social organizations, and local bodies, several important public-interest initiatives have been successfully implemented.

Strengthening Public Transport Connectivity

With the support of the Bhajanlal Government, I actively pursued the need for improved public transportation in Khanpur Assembly. As a result of consistent efforts, 13 new buses were introduced for the constituency.

These buses have significantly enhanced connectivity between rural areas and major towns, benefiting students, workers, women, and senior citizens by ensuring safer and more affordable travel.

Infrastructure Development: Roads & Culverts

Several critical road and culvert projects had remained stalled during the previous regime, causing hardship to local residents. I strongly raised public objections and led efforts to resolve these issues, restoring smooth transportation and rural connectivity.

  • Construction and repair of the Khanpur Mukti Dham Culvert
  • Improvement of the Jhagar–Piplaj Road

Service During the COVID-19 Pandemic

During the COVID-19 crisis, I personally reached out to economically weaker sections of society. Direct financial assistance and essential support were provided to needy families to help them cope with the unprecedented situation.

The objective was to ensure that no family in the constituency was left unsupported during this difficult time.

Relief Work During Natural Disasters

The Khanpur region has witnessed incidents of excessive rainfall and natural calamities on multiple occasions. During such times, relief and rehabilitation support was arranged, and affected families were provided assistance to recover and restore normal life.

Education Infrastructure Contributions

During my student politics phase, I actively raised issues related to basic infrastructure in government schools of Khanpur town. Through organized movements and persistent demands, these efforts helped create a safer and healthier educational environment.

  • Tube well-based drinking water facilities
  • Toilet facilities constructed in government schools
  • Boundary wall and playground for Govt. High School sanctioned

Municipality & College Establishment

Since 2003, I have continuously raised public demands for the formation of a Municipality (Nagar Palika) in Khanpur and the establishment of a Government College.

After years of sustained struggle, advocacy, and dialogue with the government, both demands were successfully fulfilled — marking a major milestone in the region's administrative and educational development.

Support to Gaushalas & Rural Institutions

In collaboration with local Gram Panchayats, I facilitated coordination with the Gopalan Department to secure budget allocations for construction and development of Gaushalas (cow shelters).

This initiative strengthened animal welfare, supported rural livelihoods, and preserved traditional practices.

Employment & Industrial Growth

I remain consistently active in raising public-interest demands of the Khanpur Assembly constituency. Regular engagement and follow-ups with the state government are maintained to attract investment and development projects to the region.
